Behold, we will give up the land of Jershon,
which is on the east by the sea…
unto our brethren for an inheritance.
Alma 27:22

Jershon is a land transformed by an extraordinary act of compassion. Offered freely by the Nephites to the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi—not merely as a geographic refuge, but as a spiritual sanctuary. It is a landscape sanctified by generosity, unity, andshared sacrifice.
The vivid palette—lush emerald greens, sun-warmed ochres, and tranquil hues of twilight blues and violets—reflects not only the fertility of the soil, but the spiritual richness of the people who made such a gift possible.
Tucked in the hills, the ruins whisper—not of loss, but of covenant. Though stone may crumble, the promise endures.
In the foreground, llamas (cureloms?) graze peacefully. Their presence is a visual metaphor for divine providence and lasting calm. They embody both the simplicity and the plenty of a people who have laid down their weapons and now dwell in the safety of brotherhood.
Ultimately, this work is a meditation on belonging—not only as a physical space, but as a condition of the heart. Jershon stands as a testament to what becomes possible when nations choose love over war.
